On 1 March, Geert Gielen assumed the role of general manager at Graphius Ghent.
Geert Gielen lives in Ghent and is a civil engineer by training. He has over 25 years of experience in the printing industry, mainly in industrial rotogravure printing. Geert held a managerial position at Concentra for a long time, was CEO of Mercator Press in Belgium for the last 10 years and carried out many management assignments for Koninklijke Drukkerij Em. De Jong group, which led him to work with Janssen Pers Rotatiedruk (NL), Imprimerie Casterman (BE), Dessain (BE) and Jungfer Druckerei & Verlag (DE), among others.
With the experience of working in the industrial environment of a large rotogravure printing company, Geert is well positioned to improve and industrialise various processes, which can only benefit quality, lead times and service.
